I'm Avery D. Wilson, a multidisciplinary creative. For more than twenty years, my work has moved through stages, film sets, classrooms, studios, and leadership spaces. Rooted in craft and faith, today I bring that range to people and projects seeking movement, growth, creative expression, and meaningful work.
A Career On Stage & Screen
From multidisciplinary performances on stage to appearances on screen, I’ve been blessed with a diverse experience of arts and entertainment. I've held national titles, directed award-winning choreography, coached school and collegiate teams, and led a national championship all-star program in cheerleading and dance.

Formal training with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Debbie Allen Dance Academy

Performed at the LIDO de Paris and served as a Louisiana Local Director in the Miss America Organization

Every working relationship starts with a conversation. First we talk about what you’re looking for, where you are, and what the project or goal requires. From there, we find the right way to work together — whether that means creating, developing, advising, performing, or speaking.
A Second-Mountain Season
After years of chasing achievement, I’ve entered a different kind of season: one less concerned with proving what I can do and more interested in discovering what I can give. I’m drawn to people standing at their own crossroads, whether in their artistry, work, wellness, relationships, or sense of purpose. Sometimes the next chapter requires a new skill. Sometimes it requires a new strategy. Sometimes it simply requires the bravery to begin again. That’s the kind of soulwork I want to be part of.

A Season of Champions
This season, I’m stepping back onto the screen for Season 6 of The Floor, FOX’s high-stakes competition bringing 100 champions together to compete for $250,000.
For me, it’s a full-circle moment: a chance to compete, bring my life’s work and performance experience to the floor, and introduce who I am now to a wider audience. Season 6 premieres Wednesday, September 23 at 8 PM ET/PT on FOX, with new episodes airing Wednesdays.
